Magnolia Tea: Great Sleep Tea For Centuries

Magnolia Flower Tea.  This tea is called Yunlan in China. Yunlan is made by steeping magnolia flowers.  To make a cup of magnolia flower tea follow these steps.

Place a few petals in a cup. Fill the cup with hot water. Cover and let steep for between 10 and 15 minutes. Strain and serve.

Magnolia Bark Tea.  You need 4 cups of water and 2- 4 pieces of 4inch long magnolia bark.

  • Rinse and place the barks in a pot then pour the water over them.
  • Let soak for about 30 minutes.
  • Place the pot over medium flame and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce flame and simmer for another 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 30 minutes to an hour.
  • Strain and refrigerate.
  • Take a cup 30 minutes to an hour before bedtime.

The Side Effects of Magnolia Tea
